I've decided to branch out a bit. Making vectors was a really nice idea.... except Photoshop hates me. All right, all right, that's not true, you
can make some really nice vector art using Photoshop, the result is really the best, but the thing is... it's hard. It's not as easy, as it should/could be, because, let's face it, Photoshop is a photo editing program in the first place. It has some really nice features, so I'm not going to part with it anytime soon, but I'm not going to use it for vector art.
Instead I'm experimenting with a really nice software: Inkscape. It is completely
free and it has a version for Linux/Ubuntu (I know it's not
that useful for the majority, but I find it really neat). It has some minor hiccups, especially in the saving function. It doesn't produce corrupted files, no, but it has some minor inconveniences. For example the user has to type every file extension at the end, manually. Also, it isn't instantly apparent what saving function does what, like, the 'Save as...' function doesn't do what you would normally think it does.
Besides the saving issue, it really is a wonderful software. If you got used to Photoshop's Pen tool, it does't operate that differently. The main difference lays in the filling, stroke, and the different node types. Maybe Photoshop also has these features, but I didn't manage to find them, in Inkscape, these functions are in the out, and easy to find.
Like I said, I am branching out a bit, and one of my friends is really into Batman the animated series, and his favourite villain is the Joker, of course. I made him this, for his laptop. His desktop is 1366*768 pixels, I believe most laptops work with that picture rate (I still have my old "square" monitor). I figured some of you would like to have a nice new background, so here it is. You can download the original 2732*1536 file

I hope you will enjoy it ^.^
